Borders that make a story
I'm playing with opposite words (terms) like open vs. closed, old vs. new, social vs. loneliness and imagination vs. reality. Exating surfaces gives you the feeling of flying, floating or even hovering. Is water important in my project? Not necessarily but the Mölndal's stream is a part of my defined no-space and water helps leading one into my area and the old house to whatever comes behind it. But what's behind is not for me to decide, at least not right now. I'm working with the final details on my model. It's mainly a construction for visualizing my mind and the new context of my no-space. I'm also prepairing my presentation where I try to peel isues that appears to be too obvious. One does not have to show everything. At my pre-presentation I didn't even have any pictures.

My no-place is an in-between-place and so it will remain even though I made some changes that was necessary to make it part of my identity. This old no-place is now a place. It's public but it's also mine! I love cities which surprises me when I explore them going on a walk. When all of a sudden there's an old house which at a first glance doesn't seem to fit in there, but makes my imagination go wild. Tracks from history which makes a city a lot more interesting compared to an area where the stile is only from modern time.
Bo Dahlman, IT professor at the Universtity of Gothenburg is talking about school developement in the 21th century when learning is more than being in the school building. My own learning in this project concerns what he is talking about. As teachers we have to adopt our pupils' way of learning and they are using new media. The digital world is every day learning for them. Making study visits in your city and bringing it into cyberworld is a good way of learning. I inhale my leaning in reality which most definately makes me connect, live and learn in present time.
